Armagh GAA Health and Wellbeing Committee along with senior members across the county experienced an enjoyable day trip to Croke Park stadium on Thursday 29 June.
A number of senior members of our association, male and female had the opportunity to meet, socialise and enjoy the company of other members across the county whilst experiencing a guided tour of the iconic stadium.
Seamus McDonagh, Chairperson of the Health and Wellbeing Committee said, “This social initiative has proved to be very popular among our senior members. We are delighted with the response and those who attended on the day have praised the efforts of Armagh GAA for organising this event.
He continued, “It was a really enjoyable day, everyone who attended received a guided tour of the stadium and had the pleasure of visiting the changing room which Armagh used in 2002. This was followed by lunch in the Celtic Suite and time to enjoy the GAA Museum and exhibition galleries which illustrate the story of Gaelic games from ancient times to the present day.
“We hope to make this an annual event as part of improving the health and well-being of our members, at every stage of life”.
