Hurlers reach Ulster Final

Armagh fired two injury-time points to complete a superb comeback to despatch Down and reach this years Ulster Hurling Final.

Following 2 goals from Downs Malachy Magee that put the Mournemen in the driving seat and lead 2-5 to 0-7, Caolan Baile seen red and was dismissed in the 25th minute. This give the Orchard County the belief to peg back the difference. A goal from Armagh’s Dylan McKenna leveled the tie within 13 mins of the 2nd half. The lead went back and forth until injury time when Armagh fired 2 points over to secure their place in the Final v Antrim who overcame Donegal in the other semi-final.
