THOUSANDS TUNE IN TO 70 MINUTES

On Thursday 5th June 2014, Linwoods Armagh TV put together the superb panel show entitled “70 Minutes” and streamed it LIVE around the World with thousands of fans tuning in on the night. This is the 2nd time in 12 Months the team have undertaken this huge Live production.

The panel show was hosted by the great Jimmy Smith with panel Members Gerard Houlihan, Benny Tierney, Paddy McKeever & Cavans Owen McConnon discussing current issues in the GAA and of course the upcoming Armagh v Cavan Ulster Championship clash.

The team were delighted to have Cardinal Brady who is a Cavan man residing in Armagh for many years now taking part. Also in the audience was Alan Milton (Head of Communications, Croke Park) who gave great insight into the latest TV deals within the GAA and Paul Doyle (Armagh Minor Manager) highlighting the Minors recent Championship success over Cavan.

The final 30 minutes of the show included Armagh Assistant Manager Peter McDonnell announced the starting 15 for Sundays clash.

The TV team, lead by IT Officer Kevin Fox, are a huge credit to the County and after the show Armagh County Board Chairman Paul Duggan said, “These group of men have put in a huge amount of effort to put on a very professional show tonight and the County Board are very proud of their efforts. The County Board would like to thank all who took part in the event”
