Wednesday night saw the 100,000th spectator pass through the turnstiles at the Athletic Grounds in 2015. The Athletic Grounds has played host this year to club championship games, underage championship finals and inter-county fixtures in the McKenna cup, National league and Ulster and All-Ireland qualifiers. With over 100,000 supporters attending games at the Athletic Grounds, the stadium is in the highest backet of attendance at sports stadium across Ulster. This is testament to everyone involved in the organisation of our games and emphasises the quality of the stadium we possess.1
With another busy weekend of senior and junior football championships and the Armagh ladies final to look forward to, as well as upcoming semi-finals and finals of our junior, intermediate and senior club championships, the huge attendance figures are set to rise significantly over the coming weeks. Armagh GAA would like to thank all supporters who attend our games and everyone who helps to organise the games, keep our patrons safe, officiate at games and indeed play our games. Gabhann muid buíochas le gach duine a tháinig chuig na cluichí, gach duine a imríonn agus gach duine a eagraíonn na cluichí. Go raibh míle maith agaibh.
