Armagh GAA hosted its annual golf classic recently at the beautiful setting of Armagh County Golf club in the city. The event, which was sponsored by JG McNicholl Inurance Broker, attracted a number of four balls from throughout the county and from further afield and proved a very enjoyable day. Brendan Smyth who was event organizer had great words of praise for the hospitality the teams received from Armagh County Golf Club and from club captain Richard Black. Armagh GAA wish to thank all the sponsors, which included event sponsor JG McNicholl Insurance Broker, Complete Living Solutions, Tullyherron Feeds, Simplyfruit, Classic Mineral Water, O’Neills, as well as the pin and tee box sponsors. We also wish to say a particular thanks to Brendan Smyth and to all of the volunteers who helped out on the day, as well as all of those who participated in the competition. Following the success of this year’s Golf Classic, we look forward to the 2016 event, which will be held on Friday 10 June at Armagh County Golf Club.
