Armagh squad named for Antrim trip

Wolfe Tone’s clubman, Finnian Moriarty will lead out the Armagh team to face Aontroim at the Creggan Kickham’s ground on Sunday, as the Orchard men go in search of their opening victory of the 2015 McKenna Cup campaign. The side to face Antrim sees a couple of changes to that which lined out against Tír Eoghain last weekend. Annaghmore’s Matthew McNeice starts between the posts in place of Niall Geoghegan, who hasn’t recovered in time from the knock he picked up on Sunday. The full back line sees Mark McConville and Michael Murray on either side of experienced Clonmore defender Brendan Donaghy. Jamie Clarke, who came on in the second half of the Tyrone game will start at number seven, alongside Mark Shields and captain Finnian Moriarty. North Armagh duo Aaron Findon and Stefan Campbell have been named at midfield, while the half forward line of Stefan Forker, Miceal McKenna and Mullaghbane’s Eugene McVerry will hope to put in similar performances to those of last weekend. The full forward line of Oisín Mac Íomhair, Caolán Rafferty and Niall McConville completes the line-up. Guíonn muid gach rath ar Kieran agus ar na buachaillí ar an Domhnach. We wish Geezer and the boys the very best of luck on Sunday.
