How do I become a Referee?
Anyone wishing to be a New referee is asked to attend the new referees course in the Athletic Grounds on the following dates at 8pm each night:
- Wed 22nd Feb
- Wed 1st Mar
- Wed 8th Mar

What qualities are required to become a GAA Referee?
- Good knowledge of the playing rules
- Be physically and mentally fit
- Have the ability to remain calm
- Have the moral courage to take decisions which are correct
