Minors starting 15 announced for Final

We caught up with Paul Doyle and he had this to say – Sunday is a wonderful day for the minor footballers from Armagh. Everyone in Ulster who plays Gaelic Football dreams of playing in Clones on an Ulster Final Day and on Sunday these players get their chance. It is a privilege to work with this group of lads as they are a very dedicated and hardworking bunch. The commitment they have shown to Armagh this year is phenomenal – I cannot speak highly enough of every individual and they are credit to themselves and their families.
Sunday must be a very proud moment for the families of our players, who have supported them and encouraged them throughout. Without the support of the families we would not be in Clones this weekend – as a management team we cannot thank you enough.
It should also be a proud day for the clubs of the players and the clubs must take great credit for producing such fine footballers as it is them who have nurtured and coached them from an early age. In the final the players not only represent Armagh as a county but also their clubs.
We as a management team could not function without the support of our sponsors “Rainbow Communications” and “Simply Fruit” both of whom have been very generous in everything that they have done for us throughout the year and for this we thank them, also to Armagh County Board, who bestowed on us the privilege of managing our county. We thank them for the belief they have shown in us and the unlimited support they give us.
I personally would like to thank Simon, Michael, James, Tom, Dave, Brian, Cathal, Geralt, Orla and Sean (the team behind the team) who have put an immense amount of time and effort into working with these players – a group of hidden heroes without whom Armagh Minors would not function.
We trust that the contest between ourselves and Donegal will promote all that is good about our game – honesty, manliness and skill and may the best team win.
