Clann Éireann Handballer, Niamh Coleman was recently acknowledged at the Craigavon Sports Awards.
The gifted 15year old, who is no stranger at the Craigavon Sports Awards ceremony, captured the Minor Sports Personality Award on this occasion. In the past year, Niamh not only secured further All-Ireland and National Titles to her growing CV, but she also won FOUR World titles last October.
A most popular winner on the night, as others were surely privileged to be in the company of a quadruple World Champion.
Niamh is also a talented gaelic footballer, lining out for her beloved Clann Éireann. She is a credit to both her club and family as she continues to juggle the two sports and excel at both. Niamh possesses a wonderful worth ethic, encouraged by coach Pedsy McMahon is always on hand for advice and support.
It is a great achievement for the young St. Michael’s student to once again receive recognition at the Sports Awards, but indeed it is no less than the young star deserves.
Maith thú Niamh.
