An chomhairle is fearr a fuair tú: Más ionann A go Z agus 1 – 26%, is ionann MEON agus 100%

An scil is tábhachtaí san iomáint: Ealaíona na cosanta, i. crúcáil, blocáil agus sciorrbhualadh.
The most important skill in hurling: The defensive dark arts i.e. hooking, blocking and flicking. Incredibly important for players of all ages to continuously perfect these skills!

Cad é a d’athrófá fán chluiche? An poc éirice mar 1 v 1 – má shábháltar é, laoch atá sa chúl báire!
What would you change about the game? Have the penalty rule as 1 v 1 – if the goalie saves it he is a hero!

Spórt is fearr taobh amuigh den iomáint: D’imir mé peil le Clann na nGael nuair a bhí mé óg. Is breá liom rugbaí.
Favourite sport other than hurling: Played Gaelic Football in my youth for Clan na Gael, Lurgan. Love watching rugby.

Nuair a bhí mé óg, bhí mé ag iarraidh bheith… Fear dóiteáin… agus bhí mé ag iarraidh bheith amhail Dáithí Mac Gearailt.
When I was a child I wanted to be… A fireman… then as hurling became part of my life I wanted to be like Davy Fitzgerald!

Best hurling memory as a player: Beating Down in the 2011 Ulster SHC Semi Final at Casement – one that will live long in the memory.

Cuimhne is fearr nuair nach raibh tú ag imirt: Ag amharc ar cluichí ceannais Iomána na hÉireann 2013 agus 2014
Best hurling memory outside of playing: Witnessing the 2013 and 2014 drawn and replayed All Ireland Hurling finals – simply incredible sporting drama.

Creid nó ná creid ach tá mé maith ag… damhsa!
You may not know it, but I’m good at… dancing!

An t-imreoir is fearr atá feicthe agat? Anraí Ó Seibhleáin sna tosaithe, JJ Ó Dúláinne sa chosaint
Who is the greatest player you have seen? Henry Shefflin as the greatest forward, JJ Delaney as the greatest defender – performers that produced the goods when it mattered most.

Cé a cheannófá ar mhargadh na n-aistrithe? Dáithí Mac an Airchinnigh, An Clár & Séamus Ó hÍcí, Luimneach ach gheobhainn réitithe do roinnt mhaith!!
If there was a ‘transfer market’ who would you buy? David McInerney, Clare and Seamus Hickey, Limerick. I’d get rid of a few!!

Faoi láthair, tá mé ag éisteacht le: Alesso – DJ ón tSualainn a bhainfeas clú domhanda amach in 2015. Agus sinn sa spórtlann, mé féin an DJ agus cuirtear iPod Cahal Uí Chearbhaill & Eoin Uí Cheadagáin ar leataobh.
Currently listening to: Alesso – up-and-coming Swedish DJ. He’ll be worldwide in 2015 – you heard it here first! During our gym sessions, I’m resident DJ on the team, therefore Cahal Carvill and Eoin Cadogan’s iPod’s are put to one side when I arrive!!

An t-aireagán is fearr riamh… iPod
The best invention ever… The iPod

Duine ar mhaith leat bualadh leo: Dan Bilzerian – tá sé craiceáilte!
Person you would most like to meet: Dan Bilzerian – madman!

Dá mbéifeá gafa ar oileán mara, cad é an rud is mó a bheadh uait? Trí chamán (ar eagla go mbristear beirt acu), sliotar, iPod agus spéirbhean. Modh cumarsáide de dhíth le coinneáil i dteagmháil le Conchúr Ó Doibhlin don ghreann aonlíne!
Marooned on a desert island what could you not be without? At least three hurleys (in case two of them break), a sliotar, my iPod and a good looking woman. Also I would need some form of communication to occasionally ring Connor Devlin – his one liner’s would keep the spirits high!

I gceann deich mbliana, tá súil agam… bheith ag baint sult as an tsaol le bean chéile agus cúpla páiste. Na rudaí simplí sa tsaol is fearr.
In ten years’ time I hope to be… enjoying life with a wife and couple of kids running about! It’s the simple things that matter.
