Armagh GAA is organising a Day at the Races in Down Royal Racecourse on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May 2016.
This event will act as a major fundraiser for Armagh GAA with all proceeds going to the development of games in the county.
Armagh GAA patrons will be hosted in the “Beef or Salmon” Hospitality Suite which is without doubt the jewel in the crown of Down Royal’s hospitality offering. This suite is situated on the ground floor of the Hospitality Pavilion with a fantastic view over the finishing straight of the racetrack. This is a fantastic opportunity to entertain guests or catch up with friends and family while supporting Armagh GAA.
Proceedings will commence at 12.30pm with a three course meal followed by a full race programme. Legendary GAA commentator Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh will chair a Q&A session with some familiar faces from the GAA and wider sporting world and we will have the services of an expert tipster plus tote betting for our exclusive use. Following the races, there will be musical entertainment to round off the day in a relaxed style. Dress code is smart casual and there will be a prize for the best dressed lady. So the ladies in your party will have every excuse to dress up.
Tables are available for groups of 10 priced at £3,000 and with demand likely to be high, patrons are strongly encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment. Opportunities are also available for Race, Programme and Racecard Sponsorship. For reservations/enquiries please contact Armagh GAA offices on 028 3752 7278 or email firstname.lastname@example.org .
Tickets for general entry will be priced at just £15 and are available from any of the county footballers, hurlers or county board officers. With first class racing, exquisite dining and hospitality, as well as the beautiful setting, your greatly appreciated support for Armagh GAA will ensure the day is an enduring success.
