Armagh Refereeing Success

Our refereeing panel saw great success at The 2022 Ulster Referees Annual Dinner last Saturday in the Hillgrove, Monaghan!


On an evening that recognised all referees across Ulster for their time, commitment and involvement in the delivery of our games programme, Armagh referee’s saw particular success as 4 of our referee’s were given special honours!

Shane Murphy also picked up an ABC medal from Summer 2022.

Shane Murphy in particular saw great success as just after he took charge of the McKenna Cup Semi-Final in Breffini Park, he was presented with an ABC medal from last Summer and was then awarded with the prestigious Paul McKeever Cup as the Young Football Referee of the Year.

Paudie Hughes picking up his Dr McKenna Cup Final 2022 Medal.

Paudie Hughes collected his Medal from the 2022 McKenna Cup Final. Paudie was recognised for 17 years of service at National level & 20 years service at Provincial level.

Enda Mallon picked up a medal for refereeing the Ulster Intermediate League Final

Enda Mallon was also recognised for taking charge of the Ulster Intermediate League Final.

Kevin Faloon was also recognised for refereeing the Scottish Championship Final.

And finally, Kevin Faloon was also recognised for refereeing the 2022 Scottish Championship Final.
